The house

The Rozšířená scout house is a lively, open space, where both scouts and non-scouts meet for both regular activities and one-time projects. The house has clubrooms and other spaces for scout troops – there is a place for the radioscout OK1RAJ club, scout collector’s club, Gemini education unit and others. There are board games events, meetings of scout teams; the garden is used for all kinds of get-togethers during summer.

One of the clubrooms is prepared for your overnight visits to Prague. The house is located in a calm neighbourhood not far from the centre (15 min). There is a possibility for shopping not far away (5 min), park (5 min) or swimming pool and aquapark (10 min).

The house was built in the nineteen thirties and later witnessed an important historical event. On Mai 27th 1942, assassination of the reichsprotektor Reinhard Heydrich. Since 2009, this event is commemorated by a nine meter memorial devoted to the participants of the operation Anthropoid.

Scouts use the house for their needs since 2010. it was acquired in a state not quite suitable for our activities, so there are gradual reconstructions to help it stay in our service for some more time.
